Technology (NINA)
Our investment strategy is fully systematic. It is embedded in NINA, a layered system that generates our portfolio from A to Z. NINA is built up from 3 engines. Each engine is built out of many models. After careful quality control the portfolio is implemented by our fund manager.
Macro Intelligence Engine
Uniquely, the system starts with the multiple expansion potential of each company given the opportunities of tomorrow's economy. Built to maneuver tomorrow's economic conditions, adjust portfolio companies, add uncorrelated/hedging bets (i.e. gold, JPY/USD), and adapt broad sectoral and macro exposures to those times. Aiming for a ~55% win rate, consistently.
EQUITY Intelligence Engine
From there we create a concentrated core portfolio of companies that are fit to outperform in tomorrow's economy. Looking for stable earnings potential within our macro theses. Those companies that shape and dominate the industries of the future and have characteristics such as making significant profits with low financial leverage. We typically hold 19-25 positions at each point in time.
Risk Intelligence Engine
In times that positions turn too risky when purely looking at price action, no matter how solid the fundamentals look, the system is designed to reduce risk by adjusting our positions.
